Santander is set to open its first Midlands-based lounge for its Private Banking, Select and Business customers at Unit 6, Caxton Gate, Corporation Street, Birmingham B2 4LP on 19 July 2019. The dedicated area will provide the bank鈥檚 new and existing Private Banking, Select and Business customers, with access to all its wealth solutions in one convenient place. It is the second of Santander鈥檚 Private Banking lounges to open in the UK and underlines the bank鈥檚 commitment to customers in the local community.
The lounge, situated on the first floor of the building, is designed to provide a relaxed and professional space for customers to receive expert advice on all products from specialist staff. Alongside investment and banking advice, customers will also be able to consult with a specialist Mortgage & Protection Advisor.
Santander鈥檚 Private Banking, Select and Business banking services are designed to meet the needs of the bank鈥檚 higher net worth customers and business owners. Customers can qualify for Santander鈥檚 Private Banking Services if they have over 拢500,000 of savings or an income of 拢250,000. They can also access tailored solutions including planning, guidance and financing services, through a team of over 40 Private Bankers.
The launch in central Birmingham follows the successful opening of the Piccadilly lounge at the start of the year, and other innovative developments, such as the 123 Business Current Account, which offers cashback to business owners on their annual turnover of up to 拢300 a year.
