On Wednesday 26^th June 2019, Santander UK will officially open its newly refurbished branch at 23 The Concourse, Brunel Centre, Bletchley, MK2 2DL. It is the latest of Santander’s branches to be re-designed as part of a programme to deliver even better customer service and community-friendly banking.

Worcester-based OLPRO Ltd, a fast-growing online retailer of outdoor recreational products such as tents and cooking equipment, has secured £350,000 in funding from Santander Business Banking to help the firm accelerate its international growth strategy.

On Friday 14^th June 2019, Santander UK will officially open its newly designed and refurbished branch at 45 Cowgate, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow G66 1HW. It is the latest of Santander’s branches to be re-designed as part of a programme to deliver even better customer service and community-friendly banking.

More than half (52%) of UK manufacturers think that ‘a lack of UK economic certainty’ is the most pressing concern for business, according to a new snapshot poll¹ by Santander Corporate & Commercial. The research, which coincides with Santander’s Manufacturing Industry Day on Thursday 13 June, found that one in five (21%) of the manufacturers surveyed were concerned about a lack of skilled workers.

Premier UK Events Ltd, an event production specialist based in Thurmaston, Leicestershire, has secured a £460,000 funding package from Santander Business Banking to purchase a hi-tech LED video wall, making Premier one of the leading stockists in the UK. The purchase of the wall, which is made up of 200 half-metre by half-metre individual panels that can be manipulated into a huge variety of shapes, will allow Premier to remain at the forefront of technological innovation and open the door to working with an exciting new client base.

Home from Home Nursery - a Sussex based nursery, which provides early years education to children aged three months to five years - has purchased a second Worthing site which, as of July this year, will offer an extra 55 places per day for children and hire an additional 10 childcare workers. The investment follows a seven-figure funding package from Santander Business Banking.

Birmingham City University and Santander have signed a new three-year partnership agreement that will provide, among other support, scholarships to enable students of the university to enhance their leadership skills and graduate employability.
