Do you know how energy-efficient your home is?
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is your first step to understanding this.
What’s an EPC, and why do I need it?
- An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a summary of your home's energy efficiency and its impact on the environment.
- You get an efficiency score from A to G, with A being the most efficient.
- You'll need an EPC if you want to sell or let your home. Otherwise, it's optional.
What’s included in my EPC?
- You'll see information about your home's energy use and typical energy costs.
- It includes suggestions for energy-efficient improvements you can make.
